Working with Activity Checklists

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to Create an activity checklist and add an activity item to it..

Activity Checklist

Activity Checklists are collections of activity items necessary to initiate and complete particular procurement workflows.

Examples include worker and supplier onboarding and offboarding, worker and supplier evaluations, and contract negotiation and authorization.

Activity checklists can be associated to items such as business units, sites, legal entities, labor types, SOW worker roles, and many others. What data points that a checklist will be associated to are determined when the checklist is created. Any workers associated to those items will automatically be assigned the activities on the associated Activity Checklist.

3To view the sites that an activity checklist is associated to, select an appropriate link in the Sites column.
4To view the details of an activity checklist, select a link in the Code column.

Activity Checklist Details Page

An activity checklist requires few characteristics, just the name of the record and its associations.

5Checklists can be associated to individual or multiple data points. The data points that a checklist will be associated to are determined when the checklist is created and will determine the tiles that appear in the associations pane. This checklist, for instance, is associated to Sites only.
6These are the Activity Items that have been grouped together for USA Workers.
7Six Sites were associated to this checklist, so the checklist will automatically appear on Work Orders if one of the six sites are selected. The number of site associations is also indicated in the Sites column of the Activity Checklist List page.

Create an Activity Checklist

WorkingNet is expanding their business into the UK and will be onboarding Workers in that region.

As the SAP Fieldglass administrator for WorkingNet, you’ll need to create an Onboarding Checklist specific to the UK so new workers can be onboarded.

Add an Activity Item to an Activity Checklist

WorkingNet has specific activities required for Worker Onboarding. You need to add the newly created 90-day evaluation to the onboarding.

Here is how you'll do that.
