Reports of Changes to G/L Accounts

Scenario

Kevin has noticed that the Blocked for Posting has been set for G/L Account 65991000 in Company Code 1010. He wants to know who has made this change and is looking for an App that can display the changes that have been made.

Display Changes to G/L Accounts

The Fiori App G/L Account Changes can be used to display G/L Account changes and has various filters to narrow down selection criteria. In the General Selections prompts you can select ranges such as G/L accounts, Changed on date or Changed by User Name. In the Further Selections prompts you typically want to filter by Chart of Accounts, and, or Company Codes.

Once the report with the selection criteria is executed, you can drill down on any line item to view what the old and new field values are, date and time of change and who made the change.

The image displays the Display Changes to G/L Accounts app. It includes sections for Forms of Account, General Selections, and Further Selections. Users can filter by G/L Account, change date, and the person who made the changes. Additional filters include Chart of Accounts, Company Code Data, and Field Group. The interface allows users to specify criteria and execute the search to view changes made to General Ledger accounts.
