Objective
Navigating data quality and replication within SAP is critical for ensuring seamless operations and informed decision-making. Addressing issues accurately can significantly enhance system reliability and customer satisfaction.
You can view replication results in a number of different applications.
To view log data, go to the Replications tab of the Configuration Cockpit application.
To inspect the replicated data, go to one of the following applications:
Manage Products
Manage Customers
View Configuration Data
View Deliveries
Note
The Deliveries application respects the access control for the underlying organizational data. You can only view deliveries of companies and sales organizations to which you have access.
View Organization Data
View Packaging Compositions
View Packaging Elements
View Packaging
View Material Documents
View Inventory
View Suppliers
To find out if there are data issues that must be resolved, go to the Data Quality application.
In SAP Responsible Design and Production, you can view replicated or imported customers, create customers tags and assign them to customers, and edit the customer role.
To view replicated or imported customers, go to the Customers application.
To create customer tags, go to the Customer Tags section of the Configuration Cockpit application.
Here, you can maintain tag descriptions in different languages.
To assign tags to customers or edit the customer role, go to the Customers application.
Here, search for and select the customer that you want to edit. Editing options are provided in the detail view.
The Configuration Data application allows you to view the configuration data that has been uploaded.
Among other things, the Configuration Data application also allows you to edit Incoterms:
In the Configuration Data application, on the Incoterms tab, you can edit the Supplier Liable for Plastic Tax field.
The default value for this field, which is generated during replication, is No.
Once the value is changed manually, it is not overwritten by later replications.
Incoterms can only be edited in the Configuration Data application.
To edit Incoterm values, you need to be assigned the RDP_Config_Incoterms_Expert role.
Incoterms have an impact on the liability to pay plastic taxes.
For example, let's take the context of the UK plastic packaging tax. Deliveries as imports that are directly shipped to the customer are only considered as tax relevant if these deliveries have a maintained Incoterms attribute that indicates that the supplier is liable for the plastic packaging tax.
In SAP Responsible Design and Production, you can view replicated or imported products, edit the additional attributes, and edit the country/region-specific data of a product.
Products can be finished goods, trading goods, or packaging materials. For a company that produces packaging materials, products correspond to packaging materials.
To view replicated or imported products:
Go to the Products application.
Search for and select the product that you want to edit.
Editing options are provided in the detail view.
View Data Quality Issues:
Use the Data Quality application to identify and resolve data issues.
Check Replication Results:
Access replication logs and data through various applications, such as Manage Products and View Configuration Data.
