SAP Central Business Configuration – Initial User Account Setup and Roles

Before users can work with SAP Central Business Configuration, you, as Administrator, need to perform initial setup tasks to enable users for their daily work.

Note

Share the URL to the SAP Central Business Configuration system with business users only after all the steps are completed, otherwise, it will lead to caching-related logon issues.

For the initial administration user, the program manager role (SAP_CBC_CONSUMPTION_PROGRAM_LEAD) has been automatically assigned during setup. To grant this user access to the SAP Central Business Configuration system, complete the Running Jobs for User Provisioning step.

Business users are being created in the SAP Cloud Identity Services, which enables you to create, modify, and delete users and their attributes.
