Tracking and Posting Packaging Movements in ERP
- The most common method for tracking the movement of packaging materials between exchange partners is to integrate RPM with the Material Management module in the ERP system. Using the iFlow RPM scenario, material document items for packaging from the ERP will be replicated into RPM to generate posting documents.
- For specific scenarios, such as stock corrections at partner locations or stock transfer of packaging materials between external partners, manual posting documents can be created in RPM using the "Manage Posting Documents" app.
- The API for creating automatic posting documents can be useful when integrating with a third-party systems, such as logistics service provider.
