Manual postings in RPM are used to update the balance of the returnable packaging account without changing the stock in the ERP.
Scenarios:
- Migration of account-balance from legacy-system
- Correct the stock of packaging material at partner location because of loses or theft.
- Capture in RPM the transfer of packaging materials between two partners.
- Manage partners without backend-integration.
How to do: in app "Manage Posting Documents" enter:
- Returnable packaging account
- Relationship
- Quantity
- Reference and reason for the manual posting.
Prerequisites: Configure Account Posting Type and enable it for manual posting.
