Examining the Component Manufacturing Work Center

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to identify the key elements and layout of the work center.

Work Center

The following image shows the work center used to perform the demonstration:

The image shows the Component Work center where you perform the demo. Refer to the following text for a description.

On the left side, the storage area holds raw materials, including three electronic valve head components. To the right, caps in white or blue are displayed alongside three boxes containing screws. The robot, located at the upper center, stages one of the three electronic valve head components and a cap to assembly area in the lower center (white holder). The worker picks three screws from the appropriate box and uses the electronic screwdriver, positioned on the right side, to attach the cap to the electronic valve head. After assembling, the robot captures a picture for AI-assisted quality inspection. If the inspection succeeds, the robot moves the completed product to the upper right storage area designated for finished components (green holder). If the inspection fails, the worker performs rework and executes another visual inspection.
