Business Flow

In Business Flow settings, use Autoflow to configure conditions for workflow events that trigger specific actions.

Autoflow and Business Entity HighlightedNew Rule Configuration is highlighted

The administrator uses Autoflow within Business Flow settings to send emails, events, or notifications (the three available Actions) for objects (Entities) such as Cases or Registered Products, depending on the conditions they set. This Autoflow functions as a workflow rule.

A condition is a criterion that triggers an action when met. Conditions are organized into groups. Also, a trigger can have more than one condition with additional conditions defined using logical operators AND/OR. The AND operator can be defined using a condition within the same group. To add more than one condition, use OR. Add a new group to define the OR operator among the workflow conditions so that if conditions in at least one group are met, the overall condition is considered fulfilled and the workflow rule has been triggered.

The three action types are:

  • Send Emails
  • Send Event Notifications
  • Send Info Notifications

Note

  • Conditions are based on standard and extension fields.
  • The number of conditions influences the system's performance.
