Defining a Page Layout

The Page Layout can be customized by administrators to rearrange sections, adjust columns, and manage white space within the user interface. For example, the administrator can decide that predefined fields are only accessible to selected business roles.

To create page layouts, follow these configuration steps:

For creating a new code list restriction, the following main steps are required:

1. Define new Assignment Rules to configure condition attributes relevant to a Page Layout.

   e.g.: Assign a business role to a new Assignment Rule

   
2. Create a new page layout and assign the previous assignment rule.

   Assigning the rule to a Page Layout ensures that the condition attributes are used only for the new Page Layout.

3. Open the Adaptation tool and choose the Page Layout.

   Selecting the Page Layout within the adaptation tool ensures that the configured fields, etc., are only available for the current Page Layout.
