Configuring Segment Types

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to demonstrate configuring Segment Types in Concur Request based on the customer's business requirements.

Segment Types Configuration

In the Concur Request Business Requirements unit, you learned that CVI would like to use the following segments in the order specified below:

  1. Air Ticket
  2. Car Rental
  3. Hotel Reservation
  4. Railway Ticket

Segment Type Configuration Process

Working with Segment Types

Steps

  1. Access Segment Types

    Select the Segment Types from the Request Admin page.

    Select Segment Types from the Request Admin tools.

  2. Open the Car Rental Segment

    To open a Car Rental Segment, select Car Rental and then select the Modify button.
    1. Select Car Rental.
    2. Select the Modify button.

  3. Update the Display Order

    Update the Segment type by modifying the value in the Display Order field and then selecting the Done button.
    1. Change the Display order to 2.
    2. Select the Done button.

  4. Open the Hotel Reservation Segment

    Open the Hotel Reservation Segment by selecting Hotel Reservation and then selecting the Modify button.
    1. Select Hotel Reservation.
    2. Select the Modify button.

  5. Update the Display Order

    Modify the Segment Type by modifying the value in the Display Order field and then selecting the Done button.
    1. Change the Display order to 3.
    2. Select the Done button.

  6. Open the Railway Ticket Segment

    Open the Railway Ticket Segment by selecting Railway Ticket and then the Modify button.
    1. Select Railway Ticket.
    2. Select the Modify button.

  7. Update the Display Order

    Modify the Segment Type by modifying the value in the Display Order field and then selecting the Done button.
    1. Change the Display order to 4.
    2. Select the Done button.

Result

The Segment Types for CVI have been modified.
