Motivation
The Software License Tracker App offers a practical solution for IT and compliance teams to monitor and manage software licenses efficiently. In many organizations, license data is fragmented across spreadsheets or siloed systems, increasing the risk of missed renewals, non-compliance, or unnecessary spending. This app provides a centralized, easy-to-navigate interface that displays key details such as vendor names, license statuses (valid, expiring, expired), and expiration dates. Visual alerts and drill-down capabilities help IT teams take timely action to renew or retire licenses as needed. Built using SAP Build, this lightweight tool demonstrates how IT departments can quickly create administrative solutions that improve visibility, reduce compliance risk, and support smarter software asset management through a low-code approach.

Application Overview

- Choose a Vendor: Drill down to get license status details.
- Expiry details: Vendor name date and status.
