Kudos App - Run the App

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to run the completed app

Run the App in Preview Mode

Select the Preview button at the top right of the UI
Select Open Web Preview

Note

: If you wish you may also use the mobile device preview. This requires you to first download the SAP Build Apps mobile app from the relevant mobile store for your device. If you would like to take this option please follow the links on the preview page to download the app and scan the QR code.

Use the search box to locate your app: CHRO - Kudos App - and then select Open

You should now see your app open in the browser.

Now you can submit a Kudos award! Start typing in the Recipient search field and you will be prompted to choose an employee from our integrated employee data.
Now select a category and add a Summary and Details, or, you can use the below values:

Details	In Q2, this colleague consistently demonstrated strong collaboration and a positive team spirit, contributing meaningfully to our shared goals. Their proactive communication and willingness to support others helped drive several initiatives forward and fostered a productive team environment. Their efforts were a key part of our collective success this quarter.

Once all fields are filled, select Send Kudos!
You should see a notifcation informing you that the Workflow has been started

You can process the resulting workflow by selecting the Workflow Inbox from the SAP Build lobby

Here you can see the submitted Kudos details which you entered in the app, which you can then Confirm or Cancel using the form buttons. The workflow item and form are generated from the SAP Build process automation project which is integrated into your Kudos App.

Select the Kudos Wall from the navigation menu
Here you can see Kudos awards that have previously been submitted and aproved.

Select an award to view further details
