Sales Insights App - Run the App

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to run the completed app

Run the App in Preview Mode

Select the Preview button at the top right of the UI
Select Open Web Preview

Note

: If you wish you may also use the mobile device preview. This requires you to first download the SAP Build Apps mobile app from the relevant mobile store for your device. If you would like to take this option please follow the links on the preview page to download the app and scan the QR code.

Use the search box to locate your app: CFO – Sales Insights App - and then select Open

You should now see your app open in the browser.

Now you can view the Sales Insight Data! You will notice that the app screen appears mostly blank at first.

This is because the template has been configured to only display the graphs once a product has been selected.

Use the dropdown menu you created to select a product from the list.

Once you have selected a product, you will the graphs are displayed with the corresponding data from our data source.
Select the Product Regional Breakdown button
You can now see further sales data on related to the product you selected on the Home Screen.
Select the Back button to return to the Home screen.
Use the dropdown to explore sales data for further products!
