Customer References App - Run the App

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to run the completed app

Run the App in Preview Mode

  1. Select the Preview button at the top right of the UI

  2. Select Open Web Preview

Note

: If you wish you may also use the mobile device preview. This requires you to first download the SAP Build Apps mobile app from the relevant mobile store for your device. If you would like to take this option please follow the links on the preview page to download the app and scan the QR code.
  1. Use the search box to locate your app: CRO - Customer References App - and then select Open

    You should now see your app open in the browser.
  2. Now you can view your Customer Reference app Use the dropdown field at the top to select and view a customer reference

  3. Once the reference details have loaded you can select the items under Further Information to see more details

  4. Navigate to the Submit New Reference page

  5. Choose a Customer and Product from the dropdown fields and enter some additonal details in the text fields. Then select the Submit button you added in the exercise.

  6. After a few moments, you should see the Toast notification that you configured, confiming that the workflow process has been started

You can process the resulting workflow by selecting the Workflow Inbox from the SAP Build lobby

Here you can see the submitted reference details which you entered in the app, which you can then Confirm or Cancel using the form buttons. The workflow item and form are generated from the SAP Build process automation project which is integrated into your Customer References App.
