Managing Spot Awards

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to run analytical reports to analyze the Spot Award program.

Analytical Reports

There are two reports to analyze the Spot Award program. These reports can be run and are viewed as CSV files.

Spot Award Report

The report for Spot Awards is viewed as a CSV file.

Budget Report

This report shows the budget used and total budget for users. Based on the results of this report, budgets could be modified or replaced. This report has an upper limit of 10,000 records for download.

The budget report is viewed as a CSV file.

Based on the activity and management decisions, budgets can be modified. The budget page allows for Overwriting the Entire Budget or Adding to the Existing Budget. Both are done by using CSV files.

During the time the Spot Award program is live, the eligibility of employees can be modified. This modification is done changing either the dynamic group or the eligibility rule. Note that if you change the eligible rule, you must also process the eligibility rule for the changes to take effect.

You can make the Spot Award program active or inactive at any time. This activation is done on the settings page and by selecting or deselecting the Active setting. You can also delete awards that are no longer in use, regardless of their status, by using the award IDs.

The changes in the activation of deactivation are done in the settings page.

The data protection and privacy features include, for instance, the ability to report on personal data changes and the capacity to report on all the data subject’s personal data available in the application. Customers will also have options to configure data retention rules at country level for active and inactive employees that will permanently purge personal data from SAP SuccessFactors applications.
