Creating Quizzes

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to create a quiz assessment.

Quiz Assessment Creation

The process of creating a quiz is similar to that of creating an exam. The administrator can configure the quiz by adjusting its settings and can add it to either an Online or Instructor-Led course with Online Content.

A Quiz Assessment can only include questions created directly within the quiz itself. These questions cannot be added to the Question Library and cannot be reused in other quizzes. Additionally, quiz questions do not have their own IDs and are not stored in Security Domains. Furthermore, quiz questions are not associated with learning objectives.

The steps to creating a quiz assessment are shown in this image.

Quizzes can contain the most used question types:

  • Multi-answer
  • Single-answer
  • Ordered list
  • Fill-in-the-blank
  • True/False

Basic settings, such as passing percentage, quiz attempts, localization, and question-level feedback, are supported.

Administrators can simulate the quiz in order to preview the user experience and copy or delete the quiz. Localization is supported so that the same quiz can be created to appear in different languages to users according to their preferences.
