Configuring Brand-Specific Settings

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to explain how to configure and utilize brand-level settings to enhance the candidate experience

Managing Brand-specific Settings

If you've created multiple brands in Career Site Builder, you can now configure many more career site settings specifically for each brand. Brand-specific configurations are all optional. By default, all brands inherit the same values as the default brand.

A screenshot shows a menu from the Career Site Builder interface. The menu has several options, including Pages, Appearance, Tools, Layouts, Settings, and Brand Settings. The Brand Settings option is highlighted with a red box.

Prerequisites:

  • The Brand Settings section is only available when the Unified Data Model is enabled.
  • If the Unified Data Model is enabled and you have more than one brand listed on the Brand Management page, the Brand Settings tab appears automatically

A newBrand Settings tab in Career Site Builder enables you to configure many settings specifically for each brand, including:

  • Site Information: Settings such as the internal career site toggle, Google Tag Manager ID, and meta keywords are now available at the brand level. This means that each brand can decide whether to enable an internal career site and add brand-specific tracking codes and meta keywords without impacting other brands. This allows for more granular control and customization of the candidate experience.
  • Branded URLs: Administrators can set up custom branded domains (e.g., SuccessFactors.com) or standard branded domains, giving each brand its own dedicated URL for a full brand experience. This ensures that candidates recognize and trust the career site as belonging to the specific brand.
  • Branded Email Addresses: Generic email addresses for job alerts can undermine candidate trust. With this update, each brand can send alerts and campaign emails from its own branded "from" address. This ensures that communication feels consistent and credible, reinforcing the brand identity throughout the candidate journey. Administrators can customize the job alert and email campaign address for each brand.
  • Brand-Specific Filters and Result Cards: Different brands often require different search filters to align with their unique identity and job requirements. Using Brand Settings allows customers to tailor the job search experience by providing brand-specific filters. Similarly, result cards can be customized to display relevant information for each brand, ensuring that candidates see the most pertinent details.
This image displays the Brand Settings page for an example brand, specifically the Site URL tab. Within the image, you can also see the tabs available in the Brand Settings tab including Site Information, Email Settings, Results Cards and Search Filters.

The Brand Settings section lists all the brands in Career Site Builder except the default brand (with brand identifier "default"). If you only use the default brand and haven't created any additional brands, the Brand Settings tab isn't visible.

Existing settings for the default brand haven't changed or moved.
