Binding SAP Business One, Web Client with Microsoft 365

SAP Business One Microsoft 365 Integration

With SAP Business One Microsoft 365 integration, you can email documents and other forms as attachments from SAP Business One, Web client. This can include:

  • Sales documents for detailed view and list view, with the option of multiple emails.
  • Journal entries and payments.
  • Meeting requests containing the URL from a selected activity.

Once sent, you have the option to track those emails from a detailed email log.

How to Bind an SAP Business One, Web Client User Account to a Microsoft 365 Account

Before you can send emails from SAP Business One, Web client, you must bind your Web client user account to a Microsoft 365 account. This video outlines the steps to set this up.

The following steps outline the tasks demonstrated in the Binding an SAP Business One, Web Client User Account to a Microsoft 365 Account video.

Steps

  1. On the Web client home page, choose the Sales Order tile.

  2. To open a sales order, choose the arrow to the right of the sales order.

  3. Select the share icon, and from the dropdown menu, select Send by Email.

    A new tab called Business One Office 365 Integration opens. This tab shows step-by-step instructions on how to register your application in Microsoft Application Registration Portal and how to bind an SAP Business One user account to a Microsoft Outlook account.

  4. Register your application by following the steps in Step 1: Register an application.

  5. Enter the application client ID in the field by following the steps in Step 2: Enter Application (Client) ID.

  6. Enter the client secret in the field by following the steps in Step 3: Enter Client Secret.

  7. Choose Save.

  8. In the confirmation popup window, choose Yes, and choose OK.

  9. To bind the account, in the Attention popup, select here.

  10. Choose your Microsoft account.

Result

You receive your application ID and client secret for your SAP Business One, Web client user account. Now you can email documents directly from SAP Business One, Web client.

To bind an SAP Business One, Web client account to a Microsoft 365 account, you can also go to the Business One Office 365 Integration page. In the SAP Business One, Desktop client, select AdministrationSetupGeneralUsersServices. Then select the SAP Business One Microsoft 365 Integration link next to Microsoft 365 Account and Export Templates
