Transitioned content items are not directly editable in WalkMe Learning Arc. To make changes, connect SAP Enable Now Producer to the WalkMe sever using an API key. Once connected, we can open, edit, and sync updates from Producer back into WalkMe Learning Arc.
Create an API Key
In the WalkMe Admin Center, go to the API Keys page:
Click Create Key.
Enter a name for the key and define its duration.
Under API Permissions, enable WalkMe Learning Arc – Producer Integration.
Click Create Key.
Copy and securely save the Client Secret and Client ID.
Note
Once the Client Secret and Client ID is shared, it will not be displayed again.
Connect SAP Enable Now Producer
You'll start the connect by first heading to WalkMe Learning Arc and opening the Transition Content page:
If SAP Enable Now Producer isn’t installed:
Click the Options menu.
Select Download Launcher.
Connect SAP Enable Now Producer
When the Producer Authentication application opens enter the credentials:
Username:Client ID.
Password:Client Secret.
Click Ok.
Select the content we want to download from the server.
Note
Once completed, all learning content from the server is downloaded to your device as a local version.
Sync Changes
To view, edit, or add content in SAP Enable Now Producer:
Click Sync to Server.
To sync our changes back to WalkMe Learning Arc.
Once synced:
Return to the Transition Content page.
Refresh the page to view the updated content.
