Introducing Import Data

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to define the purpose of the Import Data tool in Concur Travel.

Import Data

Import Data is an administrative feature in Concur Travel that uploads information into the tool through specific templates available. You need permission to access this feature. The permission might vary depending on your role and responsibilities:

Import Data Administrator permission allows you to import data from a company site in the Company Administration section.
Travel Agent permission, which displays the Travel System Admin and Import Data link will appear in the Company-Specific Configuration section.

Accessing the Import Data Feature

You can access the Import Data feature in one of two ways:

Through the Company Admin
Through the Travel System Admin

To access this feature through Company Admin, select Import Data on the Company Admin page.

To access the feature through Travel System Admin, select Import Data from the left menu panel under Company-Specific Configuration.

The Import Data link is highlighted as selected from the Company-Specific Configuration menu on the SAP Concur Company Travel Configuration page.
