Working with the Org Unit Import Template

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to populate the Org Unit Import Template correctly in Concur Travel.

Org Unit Import Template

You can also create and modify org. units with the Org Units template in the Import Data feature. It is common practice to use this option when adding or updating multiple org units to a site.

Review the following graphic and corresponding information to learn more about the Org Units import template.

Note

To access the import template, go to Company Admin > Import Data > Import Formats samplesor Travel System Admin > Import Data > Import Formats samples.

lmport templates will include the following at minimum:

  1. Instructions tab
  2. A tab to enter the import data

Some import templates will have additional tabs. The instructions tab indicates which fields are required and how to populate them appropriately.

Field NameDescription
Org Unit Name OldEnter data here to update an existing org unit name. If the org unit you're importing is new, leave this field blank.
Org Unit Name NewEnter the new name for an existing org unit here. If importing a new org unit, enter the name here.
ErrorLeave empty. If the import runs with errors, details will appear in this column.

Summary

  • Use the Org Units import template to add or update multiple organizational units quickly
  • Access the template via Company Admin > Import data > Import formats samples or Travel System Admin > Import data > Import formats samples
