Process Activities Using Report Dashboard
In Maintaining Dynamic Rule aside from creating a rule we can also add rule by importing rules. But as a prerequisite it should be added as a comment first in the activity. Given that it is already added as a comment you can just import it in the Show Rule screen then Run. On the Result tab you can see that it will be automatically be updated. You can also edit an existing rule by just clicking on this pencil icon here where you can change the rule directly then save then Run again. That is how you can do dynamic ruling in Universal Modeling.
Aside from creating the rules, we can also import and export rules. As a prerequisite, we need to have a comment in the activity level.
In this video you will learn how to add rule by importing rules from the local pc desktop. After uploading, the rule can be executed, and the results will be automatically updated.
Adjust Rules Using Dynamic Ruling
Steps
Access Manage Process.
From Manage Process, select your Process.
Select the Display Allocation Result activity. Make sure that the activity is in an Active state.
Select Show Result.
In the Select Show Result screen, select Export Rules.
Select Comment and download the Rule.
Configure the new rule from the Rule Configuration tab.
Upload the file in the Comment section.
Import the rule. Select the Comment that you have uploaded.
Choose Run.
Erase the Rule (Check the function and Dynamic Rule).
Select Run.
Create the Dynamic Rule based on the configuration that we have in the Execution tab.
Choose Run.
Erase the Rule(Check the function and Dynamic Rule).
Select Run.
