Assigning and Maintaining Company Cards

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to manage company cards.

Company Cards Overview

As a company card administrator, you use the Company Card page to manage imported company card transactions. You verify correct assignment to users, identify transactions that are incorrectly assigned or lack assignment, and rectify these transaction types.

Assign Company Cards

To assign a card account:

Steps

  1. Navigate to the Tools section and select Company Card.

  2. On the Manage Accounts tab, enter the appropriate search criteria to locate an employee or card by its last (4-digit) segment number, then select Search.

  3. Select a record from the rows that display, and then select Assign.

  4. The Assign Account with Name on Card dialog box displays. Choose from two options to complete this procedure: Transaction Release Period (days): Enter a positive whole number from 1 to 999.

  5. In Search, enter a minimum of 3 characters of the last name of the employee you will assign the card account to, and then select Assign.

Company Card Management

The Manage Transactions tab allows you to search for and select company card transactions release or hide transactions from the employee and assign a card.

You can search in combination with the following options:

  • Name on Card
  • Last 4 Digits
  • Transaction Date Range
  • Transaction Amount
  • Employee ID

Company Card Settings

Card management is a feature set that allows administrators to control the status of corporate credit cards issued to employees . Administrators can enable card controls or virtual cards to help organizations have better pre-spend visibility on business expenses and enhances compliance with corporate expense policies.​

Permissions granted from the Settings area are turned on for all employees with an issued corporate card regardless of group assignment.​
