SAP CX AI Toolkit Agents
The Shopping Agent and Subagents
AI is obviously one of the great topics of our time, and much of the development in this area in a Customer Experience context happens in the CX AI Toolkit. You can use the Shopping Agent in the Toolkit to create the configuration of a shopping agent for your commerce storefront to recommend products to your customers and answer their questions. Find out more here.
The Shopping Agent can now tailor product recommendations by filtering your SAP Commerce Cloud inventory based on attributes. For example, you can filter products by region to only show products available in the customer’s location.
By adding subagents, the capabilities of the Shopping Agent can be further extended. This now includes subagents for adding to carts, answering order status questions and to provide availability information based on quantities.
You can now also configure product availability in the Agent Settings of the Shopping Agent. The capability was previously only available in the Shopping Agent API.
Testing the Shopping Agent
When you’re done configuring your Shopping Agent, you can test your Shopping Agent in the Playground. This Playground allows you to validate the agent's behaviors and responses before it's enabled on the storefront for customers.
Creating Digital Service Agents
The Digital Service Agent is a service AI agent that answers inquiries from customers in natural language and only uses business knowledge from specific data sources to answer questions. It can be integrated with the Shopping Agent to further increase the accuracy of responses to distinct customer inquiries.
Using Custom AI Tools
Beyond these agents, you can also create Custom AI Tools that use SAP Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Commerce Cloud and Customer Data Platform as sources. You can also relate your prompts to specific entities in your application. For more, please continue here. Related to SAP Commerce Cloud you can now create and publish values for product type attributes.

Enriching Content with CX AI Toolkit
Generating Product Descriptions from Custom Templates
Creating informative and engaging product descriptions can be time consuming, so we have created the Templates feature to generate product descriptions.
Use this feature for greater flexibility and to align the generated content with your brand's voice and style. With custom templates, you can define specific prompts and guidelines to instruct the SAP CX AI Toolkit on how to generate content that best suits your needs.
Generation of Product Attribute Values from Product Documents
The Product Attributes tool now enables you to consider relevant product documents in the generation of product attribute values for existing product attributes.
Summary of Product Reviews
And while we are speaking about easily generating content, use the new Summary of Product Reviews toolto generate a summary of all the reviews for a particular product. The tool sifts through numerous reviews across timescales to generate a easy-to-consume summary there by reducing your time and effort.
Working with Product Images
It is not only text-based content that you can create. You can also add text or images as overlays to customize or update your existing product images.
It is also now possible to remove or replace specific objects in an image with the Product Images Tool.
Once you are done working on your images, the publish functionality transfers AI-generated product images from SAP CX AI Toolkit to SAP Commerce Cloud, so you can efficiently update product images in the commerce catalog. You can find more information on integrating SAP CX AI Toolkit and SAP Commerce Cloud here.
