- Global Settings: These encompass configuration activities that are universally applicable, regardless of the specific SAP Ariba solutions integrated, such as SAP Business Network, SAP Ariba Strategic Sourcing solutions, or SAP Ariba Procurement solutions.
- General Settings: These pertain to configuration activities necessary for a particular integration, irrespective of the specific transactions or documents being adopted.
- Application Specific Settings: These focus on configuration activities tailored to a specific transaction or document.
To initiate Application Specific Configuration within SAP Integration Suite, managed gateway for spend management, and SAP Business Network add-on, users must first complete the General Settings configuration. This entails a set of configuration activities essential for solution-specific integration, irrespective of the transactions or documents being adopted.
