SAP Integration Suite, managed gateway for spend management and SAP Business Network allows buyers to route transaction documents from SAP Business Network or SAP Ariba applications to a specific SAP ERP system using custom-based routing. Buyers can route transaction documents to the specific SAP backend system based on certain xPaths of the transactional document against the system ID of the SAP system. The custom-routing must be created for each SAP system ID that is connected to the SAP Integration Suite, managed gateway for spend management and SAP Business Network.
Custom routing is useful to customers who use multiple SAP systems or multiple client systems for the same SAP ERP. When using the custom-routing feature, buyers can:
- Create and edit custom routing for a specific document type
- Create custom xPaths to be used for document routing
