Formatting Cells

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to apply specific display, appearance, and text settings to customize cell presentation and layout in a Web Intelligence document, including font size, color, and alignment

Format Cells

To view formatting settings, select a table cell and then select the Report Element Format tab.

A table with selected rows is linked by an arrow to formatting options for hiding, appearance, text, and layout in the Table Cell properties panel.

Display Settings

Hide section: Hide always, Hide when empty, Hide when formula is true.

Appearance Settings

  • Display section: Read content as.
  • Display section \ Padding sub-section: Top, Bottom, Left, Right.
  • Background section: No color.
  • Background section \ Pattern sub-section: None, Skin, URL, File, Linear Gradient.
  • Borders section: Border color, Border styles, Border thickness, All borders, No border, Border top Border left, Border bottom, Border right.

Text Settings

Text section: Font, Font size, Color, Bold, Italic, Underline, Strikethrough, Align left, Center, Align Right, Justify, Align top, Center, Align Bottom, Wrap text.

Layout Settings

Size section: Width autofit, Height autofit.
