KPI Report

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to perform KPI reporting.

  1. Navigate to Main Menu > My Files.

  2. Open Story Admin_FirstReport.

  1. In the top-right of the screen, select Edit to put the Story into Edit Mode.

If the table is intially blank, check the

  1. Select the + Add icon next to the Net Income Report page tab at the top of the canvas. Then select Add Responsive Page.

  1. Select the Left Side Panel icon to display a list of assets which can be added to the report.

  2. Drag and drop the Table asset from the Left Side Panel onto the main canvas.

  3. Select the Right Side Panel icon to open the Builder Panel.

  4. In the Builder Panel, change the Data Source to PnL_Admin_NEW_, which you saved previously under My Files.

  1. In the Builder panel, under Rows, click on the Filter icon for Accounts.

  1. In the Set Filters for Accounts window, select All Accounts, then select OK.

  1. In the Columns section, click on the Filter icon for Measures.

  1. In the Set Filters for Measures window, select Measure_Admin, then select OK.

  1. Under Columns select + Add Dimension.

  1. Select Version and Organization.

  1. Hover over the Organization dimension that you just added, and select the Filter icon.

  1. Expand each of the continent drop-downs, then select all of the countries listed individually. Then select OK.

  1. In the table expand the following Accounts:
    • Net Income
    • Operating Income
    • Indirect Expenses
    • Non-Financial
    • KPI

  1. In the Builder panel, add the Products dimension to Columns.

  1. Expand on All Product Lines for the United States.

The grid shows that the
  1. Rename the Story tab by clicking on the the drop-down arow icon next to Page_2 and select Edit Title.

  1. Type Profit in the field provided.

  1. Save your Story by selecting the Save icon > Save.

  1. Navigate to Main Menu > My Files.

  2. Open Story Admin_FirstReport.
