After the category manager has entered all relevant information about their category, they can submit the strategy and plan document for approval or rejection by the designated approver. The strategy and plan will be combined into a single document.

To initiate the approval process, the category manager should go to the Approval section within the Strategy and Plan workflow. They can then select the Approval Document card to view the details of the approval document.

Navigating Strategy and Plan Documents:

Accessing Documents: Use the Develop Strategy and Plan application to locate relevant documents within the Strategy and Plan Documents table. Work with documents in the "Active" state and marked as "Not Restricted."

Initiating the Approval Process:

  1. Navigate to Approval: Go to the Approval section via workflow navigation.
  2. Create Approval Document: Select the Approval Document card header or click the Create Approval Document button.
  3. Verification: Ensure the details within Goals, Initiatives, and Linked Tools tabs are accurate and complete.
  4. Submit for Approval: Navigate to the upper corner of the page, select Submit for Approval, and click Submit to finalize the approval process.
