Creating New Strategy and Plan Documents

Strategy and Plan Documents

A new version of the strategy and plan can be created when the category manager edits the data. SAP Ariba Category Management allows category management administrators to enable the Enable Versioning and/or Initiate Reapproval attributes for strategy and plan tools. Once these attributes are enabled, the category manager can make edits to a strategy and plan document that is in the active, approved, or rejected phases. If the strategy and plan tools are also enabled for initiating reapproval of the strategy and plan document, are notified to submit the new version of the document for approval for the new changes to take effect.

Note

The versioning attributes for all the tools are disabled by default. Category management administrators can enable them based on the organization’s requirements.
