To streamline this workflow, SAP offers a generic capability that leverages SAP Business AI to generate efficient summaries of object pages.

Prerequisites: Authorizations
To enable AI-assisted smart summarization for business users, you must assign the appropriate authorizations. There are two available options:
- Option 1 (Recommended): Assign the IAM app SAP Business AI - User Interface Features - Smart Summarization (F7924_SUM_TRAN).
- Option 2: Assign the business catalog SAP Business AI - User Interface Features - Smart Summarization - Display (SAP_CORE_BC_AIU_SUM_PC).
Using AI-Assisted Smart Summarization
You can identify if this feature is enabled by looking for the Summarize button in the top-right corner of an SAP Fiori elements-based object page.
Clicking this button opens the summarization interface, which includes the following features:
- Section Selection: Use the Select Sections menu to choose the specific content you want to include. You must select at least one section to proceed.
- Rich Text Editing: The AI generates the summary within a rich text editor. This allows you to manually adjust the content and formatting to meet your specific requirements.
- SAP Business AI Integration: Because the summary is generated using generative AI, results may vary each time. It is important to verify the accuracy of the output and share the information responsibly.
- One-Click Sharing: Once you are satisfied with the summary, use the Copy All button to quickly copy the text for use in emails or other collaboration platforms.
AI-Assisted Easy Filter
End-users of SAP Fiori elements list report applications often rely on filters to identify specific business objects. However, users unfamiliar with technical property names may find traditional filtering difficult without specialized training. Furthermore, standard filters are typically limited to the system language and cannot easily process complex queries, such as multi-condition AND statements.

To enable AI-assisted easy filters for business users, one of the following two authorization options must be assigned:
Option 1 (Recommended): Assign the IAM app SAP Business AI - User Interface Features - Easy Filter (F8552_TRAN).
Option 2: Assign the business catalog SAP Business AI - User Interface Features - Easy Filter - Display (SAP_CORE_BC_AIU_FIL_PC).
Using AI-Assisted Easy Filter
The AI-assisted easy filter streamlines the search process by allowing users to interact with data using natural language. Key features include:
Natural Language Queries: Describe what you are looking for in plain language to find relevant entries quickly.
Query History and Favorites: Access Favorite Queries and Last Used Queries directly from the search bar. You can easily add queries to your favorites or remove them from either list.
Simple Reset: Click the Reset Filters button to clear all applied criteria and display all entries.
Hybrid Filtering: If necessary, you can refine AI-generated filter criteria further by switching to Classic mode.
AI-Assisted Error Explanation
In SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, users can generate AI-driven resolution recommendations to handle system errors. These messages are written in natural language, making it easier for users of all experience levels to rectify issues and maintain business continuity.
This feature is supported for both SAP Fiori elements-based applications and Web Dynpro ABAP-based applications.

Using AI-Assisted Error Explanation
When an issue occurs while working on an object page, the message popover in the bottom-left corner of the screen will notify you. To resolve the issue using AI, follow these steps:
- Open the Message Popover: Click the notification in the bottom-left corner to see the list of issues.
- Select an Issue: Choose a specific error message from the list.
- Generate Explanation: Select Explain. SAP Business AI will then generate a detailed explanation of the error and provide a recommendation on how to best resolve it.
AI-Assisted Smart Personalization of My Home for Insights Cards
AI-assisted smart personalization helps users efficiently add insights cards to My Home, the entry page for SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition. By using natural language queries, users can customize their workspace without navigating complex technical menus.

Using AI-Assisted Smart Personalization of My Home for Insights Cards
The smart personalization feature allows you to discover and preview content before adding it to your homepage. Key features include:
- Natural Language Discovery: Use the Add Content action from the salutation bar and navigate to the Insights Cards tab. You can describe what you need in plain language within the search box (which includes a character limit indicator).
- Sample Queries: The dialog box displays examples of queries to help you get started.
- Generate and Preview: After entering your query, click Generate to see a preview of the card.
- Adding Content: If you are satisfied with the result, click Add to place the card on your My Home page.
- Refining Results: If the generated card does not meet your needs, click Delete Query to clear the search and try a different description.

AI-assisted smart personalization for applications helps you find the right tools for your tasks using natural language. With a single click, you can add discovered apps to My Home, ensuring they are always accessible from your SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition entry page.

Using the Smart App Finder
This feature simplifies the process of customizing your workspace by using intuitive search and preview capabilities:
Natural Language Search: Use the Add Content action from the salutation bar and navigate to the Apps and Insights Tiles tab. Describe your task or the app you need in the search box using plain language.
Character Guidance and Examples: The search box displays a character limit to guide your input, and the dialog box provides sample queries to help you get started.
Preview Results: After entering your query, click Go to see a list of suggested applications.
