Tricentis Test Automation for SAP

Tricentis Test Automation for SAP includes test case authoring for automated tests, test data services, and support for all UIs and APIs in SAP products. For testing business processes within SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, use the embedded Test Automation Tool (via Test Your Processes Fiori app). Because SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition already has an embedded Test Automation Tool, the primary use case for Tricentis Test Automation for SAP is to automate cross-system integration tests. For example, creating a new user in your HR system of record and validating the new user exists in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.
Both Tricentis Test Automation for SAP and the Test Automation Tool from SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition are integrated with SAP Cloud ALM's test management capabilities, which means you can view the results of all your automated tests in one place (Cloud ALM).

Setting up Tricentis Test Automation in SAP Cloud ALM
If Tricentis has not been set-up in the customer's SAP Cloud ALM system, there will be an app in the Administration section titled, Set Up Tricentis Test Automation for SAP. This app is a wizard that guides you through the steps to activate Tricentis Test Automation in the customer's Cloud ALM system. Detailed steps to explain the setup are in the SAP Help Portal.
