In the previous lesson, you learned how to extract data from reports or workitems. This lesson continues with an analysis of the extraction results.
To verify the extracted data, you will use the same step: 7. Execute Data Extraction.
Assuming you have already extracted data from a report or work item, next you will explore in an exercise the extraction detail panel on the right side of the screen.
Compare the Results
You can also compare the results from the SE38 output to those of the DTV executions.
Most of the time, the records and the data between the SE38 and DTV will match.
If there is any discrepancy, that will be shown in the evaluation when the data is compared between the two result sets from the source and target systems, which you will discover in the next unit.
