Adding a Standard Dashboard or Tile

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to add a standard dashboard or tile.

Manage Standard Dashboard and YouCalc Files

All dashboard management actions are available in one single admin tool called Manage Dashboards. You can also create and manage some dashboard framework functionality in Report Center as well.

To view existing tiles, view existing standard dashboards, create tiles, and download standard tiles from SAP SuccessStore, choose Manage Standard Dashboards and YouCalc Files inside the Manage Dashboards admin tool.

Add a Standard Dashboard or Tile

To add a standard dashboard or tile:

  1. Navigate to Manage Dashboards.
  2. Select Manage Standard Dashboards and YouCalc.
  3. Select Add from SuccessStore.
  4. Locate the standard dashboard or tile you wish to add in the list.
  5. Click Add to Instance.
  6. Complete any additional configuration for the dashboard or tile.
  7. Click Save.
  8. Return to Manage Standard Dashboard and YouClac Files Management screen.

Assignment of Permissions to Run Tiles and Dashboard Reports

To assign permission to run a tile or a standard dashboard, complete the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Manage Role Permissions.
  2. Select the appropriate role.
  3. Verify that the Permission tab is selected and choose the Edit button.
  4. Choose Next to move to the Add Permissions tab.
  5. Navigate to the Report Permissions category in User Permissions.
  6. To allow a user to run all or certain tiles and standard dashboards, enable Analytics Tiles and Dashboards and select the appropriate options.
  7. Choose Next to move to the Preview tab.
  8. Select Save.
