Team View
When you work with domains that utilize people, you define the team or the scope of user data you would like to return in your report. This is also referred to as People Scope.

A Team View is based on a user's management hierarchy. Selecting this option will allow the report creator to view data for users within the selected Team Manager's hierarchy, that is, direct reports, their direct reports, and so on, down to the lowest level of the organization.
This hierarchy is determined by SAP SuccessFactors based on data contained in the MANAGER column of the user data file. If a user's ID is listed in the MANAGER column of the user data file at least once, that user is considered a manager. That manager's Team View would include any user to which that manager is assigned in the user data file and ALL LEVELS down the hierarchy.
Note
You may change the number of levels down which are visible in the report when you define the Team.
Note
If you select Team View, only managers will be able to see data in the report.
Team View Example
| Row | User ID | Manager | HR |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1. | cbarkley | dmontagna | ffrito |
| 2. | ccooper | dmontagna | msierra |
| 3. | dmontagna | dmontagna | msierra |
| 4. | ffrito | dmontagna | msierra |
| 5. | lleslie | dmontagna | ffrito |
In the example, if a Team View report is shared with dmontagna, you will see all rows because dmontagna is the manager for each user.
If a Team View report is shared with ffrito, she will not see any row because ffrito is not a manager for any of these users.
If a Team View report is shared that was created using the Starting From msierra option, viewers will not see any rows because msierra is not a manager.
