Introduction
Biospecimen Shipment Material
In the SAP Cell and Gene Therapy Orchestration solution, this application can be found under the Configuration tab or use Configure Biospecimen Shipment Material in the open search section to access it. This application provides extended information that can associate the Biospecimen shipment material with Therapy, Therapy Category, Country, Processing Plant and Min & Max Patient weight.
Configuring Biospecimen Shipment Material
Click on Create as pointed in the figure above on how to create a new entry.
The Configuration consists of the following:
- Unique ID of 40 characters
- Therapy from Manage Therapy
- Therapy category from 'Configure Therapy Categories'
- Country/Region
- Minimum and Maximum weight of the patient with unit of measure
- Biospecimen material
Activation and Deactivation
When a new biospecimen shipment material is saved, the status is set to Active by default. At any point in time, the biospecimen shipment material entry can be deactivated by providing the right Deactivation Reason and optional comments. In the same way, deactivated entries can be activated by providing the right Activation Reason.
