You will learn how to configure user statuses in the SAP Cell and Gene Therapy Orchestration solution. This allows creating and managing custom statuses to indicate field states. You can define a unique ID, description, and map to system statuses. User statuses can be activated, deactivated, and reactivated as needed.

Introduction
User Status
In SAP Cell and Gene Therapy Orchestration solution this application can be found under Configuration tab or use Configure User Status in the open search section to access it. This application allows to configure the status that can be selected manually to indicate the state of fields in the application.
Configuring User Status
Click on Create as pointed above to create a new entry.
The Configuration consists of:
- An unique ID of 5 characters
- Description of 250 characters
Mapping of custom user status with the predefined system status.
Activation and Deactivation
Once a new user status is saved the status is set to Active by default. At any point of time the user status can be Deactivated by providing the right Deactivation Reason, optional comments and reviewing the Where used list. In the same way Deactivated entries can be activated by providing the right Activation Reason.
