Introduction
Change Reasons
In the SAP Cell and Gene Therapy Orchestration solution, this application can be found under the Configuration tab or use Configure Change Reasons in the open search section to access it. This application allows the creation of change reasons that can be used as predefined reasons while making changes to any existing record.
Configuring Change Reasons
Click on Create as pointed out in the figure above on how to create a new entry and select the Entity against which the change reasons are to be created. Provide a brief description within 250 characters. Assign reason codes from the predefined dropdown.
Activation and Deactivation
When a new change reason is saved, the status is set to Active by default. At any point in time, the change reasons can be Deactivated by providing the right Deactivation Reason and optional comments. In the same way, deactivated entries can be activated by providing the right Activation Reason.
