Introduction
Material Type and Material Group Combinations
In the SAP Cell and Gene Therapy Orchestration solution, this application can be found under the Configuration tab or use Configure Material Type and Material Group Combinations in the open search section to access it. This application facilitates the logical grouping of Material Type and Material Group that can be used together. This configuration can be used in Transportation Lane determination.
Configuring Material Type and Material Group Combinations
Click on Create as pointed in the figure above on how to create a new entry.
The Configuration consists of the following:
- A unique ID of 40 characters
- Mapping of Material type and Material group created using the applications Configure Material Types and Configure Material Groups
Activation and Deactivation
When a new material type and material group combination entry is saved, the status is set to Active by default. At any point in time, the material type and material group combination entry can be deactivated by providing the right Deactivation Reason, optional comments, and reviewing the Where used list. In the same way, deactivated entries can be activated by providing the right Activation Reason.
