Visits Overview

 The sales team plans and records site visits and related activities in Visits.

SAP Sales Cloud Version 2 helps create and record interactions for customer visits. Let's look at the configuration of Visit in SAP Sales Cloud Version 2. Find all the settings for Visit using the path User MenuSettingsAll Settings, then search for "Visit."

The Settings page shows the Mobile Administration for Visit tab and the Visits tab, including Visit Types and General options.

Alan, as an Administrator, configures and customizes its usage based on Best Run Bikes' requirements.

Configure the following features:

  • Visit Types.
  • General setting for Visits.

Configure Visit Types

Visit Types define the different types of visits that can be created.

The Visit Types page highlights how to add a new visit. It also includes the Description, toggles to activate it, and actions to delete the visit.

Alan configures the following options when keeping Visit Types:

  1. Create new entries for Visit Types.
  2. Create or change the description.
  3. Activate or deactivate existing Visit Types.
  4. Delete unused custom Visit Types.

General Setting for Visits

The General Settings page for Visits highlights the configuration for the Duration, Type, and Priority.

Alan configures the following options when keeping the General Settings for Visits:

  1. Keep the default duration for Visits.
  2. Select the default visit type for the Visits creation.
  3. Default priority for the Visits.

Configure Mobile Screen for Visits

 The mobile screen configuration focuses on adapting the Visit feature for mobile devices. By customizing the mobile screens, businesses optimize the visit management experience for sales representatives who primarily work on mobile devices. Configure the following for mobile screens:

  • Fields to see in the expanded header details.
  • Fields to show on cards in the list view, and for managing quick filters.
  • Fields to see in the Visit creation form.
  • Keep the Visit KPIs before and after the visit.
The Mobile Administration page displays expanded header details and other sections, such as List, Create, and Visit KPI. It also highlights the Display Fields, including General, Account, and Organizational Details.
