Collaboration
Objective
After completing this lesson, you will be able to collaborate with your colleagues by asking them to review a story you have saved in SAC.
You may use social collaboration options to support and optimize group decision-making processes.
All collaboration activity is grouped under discussion threads. You can start a new discussion at any time by inviting specific participants. Only people who have been invited can see the discussion.
- Select the Collaboration icon in the top-right of the screen.
- Select the + New Discussion button.
- To invite one of the other workshop users to your discussion select the Invite Participants….
- Type the User ID to search, and select from the results.
- Type a message at the bottom, for example Please provide feedback your on this story. Then click the + Add button, then Link Story.
- Hit the return key or click the Send icon to send your message.
- Click on Collaboration icon to hide the panel.
Note that collaboration works across both the web and mobile interfaces.
