Introduction

Before you begin

To run this hands-on workshop, you will need:

• A laptop with the Google Chrome browser installed.

• SAC Workshop Guide.

• Access credentials to the Workshop tenant from the registration email you have received.

• Your ### code (which is part of your user ID). You should replace ### in any instructions with your number.

• The XXX as shown in any filenames must be replaced by your username/email as per the Access Credentials from the registration email you have received.

• The “Analytics Cloud” folder is the same as “My Files” folder and can be used interchangeably.

• The results from the exercises, as shown in the images, are for reference purposes only and can differ slightly.

• The relevant datasets required for the workshop are stored within SAC and can be accessed through the following path - Files > Analytics Cloud > Public > Experience Academy > SAC Planning > Datasets. Here you will find 3 .txt files and 1 excel file. Instructions on how to download shown in Step 11 below.

2.2 Login with credentials provided by your instructor/obtained from registration email.

1. Open Google Chrome

2. Enter the URL received during registration (e.g. academy-sac.eu10.hcs.cloud.sap/sap/fpa/ui/app.html). This URL will differ depend on your chosen location during registration.

3. Enter User ID assigned from the email received.

4. Enter password assigned from the email received.

5. Note: Please decline the request to receive email updates.

6. The home screen is your starting point for creating content.

7. Within Google Chrome click on the Chrome customization option settings.

8. Set Zoom setting to 80% to fit more content on your screen if preferred.

9. To download the relevant datasets required for the workshop to your local Downloads directory, click on the “Main Menu” at the top left.

10. Right click on Files and select Open App in New Tab and select the Public Folder.

11. Select the Experience Academy - SAC Planning folder and then the Datasets/ folder and click on each of the available files to download.
