KPI Report

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to we will perform the KPI reporting.

  1. Navigate to Main Menu > My Files.

  2. Open Story Admin_FirstReport.

  1. In th top-right corner of the screen, click Edit.

  1. Select the + Add drop-down button next to the Net Income Report tab at the top of the canvas. Then select Add Responsive Page.

  1. Click the Left Side Panel button to display a list of assets which can be added to the report.

  2. Drag and drop the Table asset from the Left Side Panel onto the main canvas.

  3. Click the Right Side Panel button to open the Builder panel

  4. In the Builder Panel, change the Data Source to PnL_Admin_XXX which is saved in My Files.

  1. In the Builder panel, under Rows click on the Filter icon.

  1. Set the filter for Accounts to All Members, then select OK.

  1. In the Columns section in the Builder, click on + Add Dimensions.

  1. Select the Organization dimension.

  1. Hover over the Organization dimension that you just added, and select the Manage filters icon.

  1. Expand each of the continent drop-downs, then select all of the countries listed individually. Then select OK.

  1. In the table expand the following Accounts:
    • Net Income
    • Operating Income
    • Indirect Expenses
    • Non-Financial
    • KPI

  1. In the Builder panel, add the Products dimension to Columns.

  1. Expand on All Product Lines.

Note

The grid shows that the indirect expenses are not assigned to a product or product category. To determine the real profitability of the categories and products we will need to allocate these expenses which we will do in a later chapter.
  1. Rename the tab by choosing the drop-down next to Net Income Report.

  1. Select Edit Title and enter Profit in the field provided.

  1. Click the Save icon under File and Save.

  1. Navigate to Main Menu > My Files.

  2. Open Story Admin_FirstReport.
