Navigating the Essentials in SAP Sales Cloud Version 2

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to navigate within SAP Sales Cloud Version 2

Access the SAP Sales Cloud Version 2

Customers and Partners can easily access SAP Sales Cloud Version 2 by following the guidelines outlined in the Onboarding procedure. These guidelines are available on the SAP Help Portal.

The Onboarding guide shows four key options to help new users, including start their journey, get access credentials, request support, and explore how to use SAP Sales Cloud effectively.

Prerequisites:

  • Have a valid license for SAP Sales Cloud Version 2.
  • Have a valid SAP user ID or S-User ID for accessing the "SAP for Me" portal, where customers manage access and SAP solutions subscriptions.

Customers with a valid license for SAP Sales Cloud Version 2 and an S-user-ID need to access the "SAP for Me" portal to begin the system setup process. After completing this procedure, the process continues as follows:

  • After completing the procedure, the IT Contact in the purchase order gets the "Handover Mail" with initial user credentials, valid for 90 days, to set up admin users in the tenant.
  • With these initial credentials, the IT Contact accesses the SAP Sales Cloud Version 2 tenant and creates an administrator to manage users and roles. It's important to complete this task early because of the credentials' 90-day validity.

With the provided credentials, the administrator uses the Login Page, the offered credentials and accesses the system.

After following the onboarding procedure, customers receive the onboarding email, which includes the following:

  • The tenant URL
  • The administrator user ID
  • Change the initial password after the first access.

Access the SAP Sales Cloud Version 2 Through the Login Page

The administrator uses the given credentials to log into the system through the Login Page.

The login screen prompts users to enter their SAP credentials or sign in using SSO, set against a background symbolizing digital connectivity.

Default Home Page

After logging in, the Home Page shows the pre-configured business cards:

The customization screen lets users choose a default background image for their SAP Sales Cloud home page, offering both standard and customized options.

The Home Page shows the following cards:

  • Greeting Card: It shows a greeting message to the user along with the current date and the weather condition.
  • Message Card: It shows messages for the business users.
  • News Card: It shows news sequentially from RSS feeds.
  • Video Thumbnail Card: It shows on the home page with the pre-delivered video thumbnail.
  • Quick Links Card: It serves as a launchpad for various quick-create pages within the solution. A quick links card on the home page shows the object icons and the object names to help you navigate.
  • Learning Content Card: A list of five helpful articles that help understand the solution.
  • Video Feed Card: A list of five helpful videos that help understand the solution.
  • Pins Card: A launch pad with different types of links, shown as icons and actions that help you navigate. For "Pins Card," it shows a launch pad with different types of links, showing icons and actions that guide the navigation.
  • Pipeline Manager Card: It shows the opportunity distribution based on risk.
  • My Task Summary Card: It offers the number of tasks by status.
  • My Win Rate Card: It shows the "Win Rate" with a graphical representation.
  • My Opportunities Card: It shows the number of opportunities that you're working on.
