What is Concur TripLink?

Concur TripLink is a solution that captures travel bookings made directly with airlines, hotels, car rental companies, and other travel providers—outside of the organization’s managed travel program—and integrates them into the SAP Concur platform.

This figure outlines the process of connecting a SAP Concur account to a Travel Supplier account for automatic booking synchronization, applying travel policy rules and utilizing corporate rates and payment information during booking.

What is Concur TripIt Pro?

Concur TripLink users have a complimentary subscription to Concur TripIt Pro. Travelers need to link their SAP Concur account to Concur TripIt. In the Concur TripLink hub, they can either create and connect to a new Concur TripIt account or connect to an existing Concur TripIt account.

This figure illustrates an offer for SAP Concur users to link with Concur TripIt Pro for free, enabling enhanced travel features like flight alerts and gate walking directions.

What are the benefits of Concur TripIt Pro?

Concur TripIt's premium service, Concur TripIt Pro, is packed with additional features that give you a leg up on changes and help you make the most of all your trips.

Concur TripIt Pro will perform the following tasks:

  • Keep you informed on any flight changes.

How to forward plans and get an itinerary started in SAP Concur

For travel providers that are not yet part of the Concur TripLink network, users can share the itinerary with SAP Concur, allowing visibility for duty of care and reservation management.

To share plans with SAP Concur, users need to do the following:

  1. Have connected their SAP Concur and Concur TripIt accounts.
  2. Forward travel confirmation emails from travel partners to plans@tripit.com.

SAP Concur will automatically merge those segments with Concur Travel or Travel Agency-booked segments and create a consolidated itinerary. The data from these itineraries will also flow through to the expense report and to the management information reporting available to your organization.
