In this lesson, you will learn how to review and update your System Settings, use Travel Vacation Reassignment to temporarily delegate travel approval responsibilities, and set up access to Concur on your mobile device.
Travel Vacation Reassignment
Travel Vacation Reassignment allows approvers to temporarily assign their approval responsibilities to an alternate approver when they are unavailable, such as during vacations or leave.
To assign a backup travel approver:
- Navigate to Profile.
- Select Profile Settings.
- Select Travel Vacation Reassignment.

- Search for and select a temporary approver, then Submit the changes.

To disable, follow the same steps and select None for the temporary approver.

This feature is specifically for trip approval reassignment in Concur Travel and does not apply to Concur Request.

Concur Mobile Registration
The SAP Concur mobile app is an extension of the SAP Concur full-featured, web-based SAP Concur Travel & Expense service, which integrates travel and expense processes. With the mobile app, you can manage trips and expenses, and book hotels, rail, and rental cars — all from your mobile device.
This section provides instructions to download and sign in to the SAP Concur mobile app.
In the Concur Mobile Registration section, you can request an email with the download link and instructions to be sent to your device.

Note
- Users with Android devices can download the SAP Concur Mobile app from the Play Store, while users with iOS devices can download it from the App Store.
- SAP Concur automatically activates the mobile app for all clients.

System Settings
In this section, you can customize your Regional Settings and Language, personal Email Notifications, Calendar Sync Preferences, and Appearance Settings.
To access your System Settings:
- Select the Profile icon (top right corner).
- Select Profile Settings.
- Select System Settings.

Regional Settings and Language
Use the Regional Settings and Language preferences to customize your user experience.
Regional Settings and Language | Description |

Default Language | Select your desired language from the dropdown options for your SAP Concur system; this can be different from your organization default. |
Number Format | You can select your preferred number format to display numbers in Concur Travel. |
Placement of Currency Symbol | Select your Currency Symbol placement before the amount or after the amount to view the currency symbol in Concur Travel. |
Date/Time Format | Select your preferred date and time format to display the date and time in Concur Travel. |
Hour/Minute Separator | Select your Hour/Minute Separator to determine how minutes and hours are displayed. |
Time zone | Select your local time zone from the dropdown options. |

Email Notifications
All Email Notifications settings in this section are linked with your organization configuration email options.
This section contains two types of email notifications:
- Approver Email notifications
Note
You will not use these email options if you are not a travel approver.
Approver Email Notifications
Description
Send an email every time something is put in or removed from my approval queue
Select the checkbox to receive an email when there is a trip for you to approve.
Send a daily summary of items in my queue
Select the checkbox to receive a daily summary of trips awaiting your approval.

- General Email notifications
General Email Notifications
Description
Let me know when one of my requests is approved or denied
Select this checkbox to receive an email when any of your trips are approved or denied.
Send Confirmation Emails
Select this checkbox to receive an email when you book a trip.
Send Trip-on-Hold Reminder Emails
Select this checkbox to receive an email when you place a trip on hold.
Send Ticketed Travel Reminder Email
Select this checkbox to receive an email when your ticket is issued.
Send Cancellation Emails
Select this checkbox to receive an email when your travel booking is cancelled.

If you opt out of Send Confirmation Emails, Send Trip-on-Hold Reminder Emails, Send Ticketed Travel Reminder Email, or Send Cancellation Emails, you will not receive travel-related email notifications from Concur, but your assistant or arranger will continue to receive them.
Calendar Sync Preferences
Concur Travel's calendar integration feature automatically updates your calendar with travel itinerary details, ensuring seamless synchronization and visibility of travel plans.
Note
The Calendar Sync Preferences section is only visible when the Calendar Integration feature is enabled for your organization's configuration.

- When Disable Calendar Integration is selected, none of your trips will appear in your calendar as the integration is turned off.
- Add ONLY air and rail to my calendar limits calendar synchronization to air and rail travel only. Car, hotel, taxi, and other ground bookings will not appear in your calendar.
Appearance Settings
You can customize the visual appearance of your SAP Concur web application using the Appearance Settings dropdown options.

When you've made your selections, select Save. To discard your selection, select Cancel.
