Start of Scheduling (Multiple Counter)
When you view the call objects for a maintenance item in the Manage Maintenance Items app (F5356), you can view the completion date and time, scheduled start date and time, scheduled end date and time, basic start date and time, basic end date and time, required start date and time, and required end date and time in your local user time zone. The system converts the system time zone into the time zone of the current user as set in the SAP Fiori launchpad and in the browser.
When you process or display maintenance plans of type Multiple Counter in the Manage Maintenance Plans app (F5325), you can view the scheduling start date and time in your local user time zone. The system converts the system time zone into the time zone of the current user as set in the SAP Fiori launchpad and in the browser.
Key Benefits:
- The user records the create or display the date & time with respect to the time zone that they are located instead of converting that into UTC.
- Allows the user to switch between multiple time zones (in case of moving asset maintenance) and create and display Maintenance Plan and Item in the context of the time zone that they are operating from at that moment.
