After completing this lesson, you will be able to valuate through a supplier and clarify through requestor.

Collaboration with externals in RVC

Introduction

Beneath the valuation Subject Matter Experts of a Department as well have the tasks to forward requirements for valuation to their Supplier and clarify incomplete or unclear requirements with the Requestor. Let’s see how that works using Requirements Valuation Cockpit (RVC) by CENIT.

Valuate requirements through a Supplier

If a requirement is solved by a Supplier, a Subject Matter Expert of the responsible Department has to forward the requirement for valuation to the Supplier.

  1. Select the requirements.
  2. Click on Collaborate.
  3. Select Evaluate through supplier.
  4. Select the supplier.
  5. Confirm with Collaborate.

Clarify requirements through the Requestor

In case the description of the requirement is unclear, a Subject Matter Expert of the responsible Department has to ask the Requestor to clarify the description of the requirement.

  1. Select the requirements.
  2. Click on Collaborate.
  3. Select Clarify through Requestor.
  4. Enter a question.
  5. Confirm with Collaborate.
