Customization of RVCs project view

Introduction

Requirements Valuation Cockpit (RVC) by CENIT can be used by different users acting in different roles and having different tasks and out of that having different needs to the data. Most important indicators for the processing of requirements are interesting for all users using RVC and are calculated in real time.

  • The time remaining visualizes the time until the deadline is reached and is calculated by using the value of the property due date.
  • The degree of completion visualizes the number of valuated leaf-requirements in property rating processor.
  • The degree of fulfillment visualizes the number of leaf-requirements which have been valuated with standard or modification in property rating processor.

For individual needs, the project view of RVC can be tailored as follows.

Configure individual view for the project table

Individually configuring the columns in the project table allows you to control which ones are visible for you. This helps to match your workflow by emphasizing relevant information and hiding what’s not needed.

  1. Click the Settings icon.
  2. Change the order of columns, and select or deselect columns as needed.
  3. Confirm with OK.
The RVC interface highlights the Settings icon

Adapt filters for the project table

The purpose of adapting filters is to control which columns can be used to filter the table. This process enables the configuration of filtering options that aren’t available by default when the page loads, allowing you to filter by any property of the project. It helps tailor the filtering to your specific workflow by highlighting the relevant properties and removing the unnecessary ones from view.

  1. Click on Adapt filters.
  2. Change the order, deselect, or select filters.
  3. Confirm with OK.
The RVC interface highlights the Adapt filters button/option.

Configure individual filtering for the project table

Individual filtering allows you to narrow down the data in the table to display only the projects that meet specific criteria. By applying these filters, you can quickly focus on the most relevant data for your task, reducing clutter and making it easier to manage large sets of projects according to your specific workflow or priorities.

  1. Configure the filters as needed.
  2. Click on Go to execute the filters.
