Handover of requirements projects to the next process in RVC

Introduction

The handover of a requirements project from the Project Manager to the Account Manager describes the end of the valuation process and the beginning of the result creation through the Account Manager in Requirements Valuation Cockpit (RVC) by CENIT.

Completing a requirements project

A requirements project is complete if all leaf-requirements have reached the status validated, means are accepted by the Project Manager.

  1. The last leaf-requirement has to be validated by the Project Manager.
  2. Click Go to update the requirements in the table.
The RVC interface shows a leaf-requirement with validated status.

The status of the requirements project automatically changes to completed. Subject Matter Experts and Project Managers will no longer be able to do changes on the requirements project. Only Account Managers can now continue with their work on the requirements project.

Closing a project

Closing a requirements project through the Account Manager occurs once all work is completed. It serves to indicate that no further changes are needed and prevents other users from making additional modifications. If further updates are required, the requirements project must be reactivated by the Account Manager.

  1. Click on Change Status on top.
  2. Select Close ( Sync to Editor).
the RVC interface shows the Change Status button and the Close (Sync to Editor) option in the dropdown menu. the

The status of the requirements project will change to closed. If a requirements project reaches the status closed, only Account Managers can reactivate it.
